RE: How to test blade MCX parts?

This is called TBEtoilet bowl effect and to a certain extent it's normal. When it makes the bird hard to control, then it's excessive and should be dealt with.

RE: How to test blade MCX parts?

You don't swith the blade around, you switch the stabilizer bar.

As for the swashplate, I have one and have noticed no difference, except that it no longer comes apart.

RE: How to test blade MCX parts?

Are you sure you need upper blades? If you broke off the ball connecter, you can flip your stabilizer bar around and attach it to the other side.

As for spare parts...

RE: How to securely mend a broken off mSR shell support prong

Melt it into place.

The plastic they use is very soft and turns to goop with the application of heat. I've used a lighter, the kind with the forceful jet instead of just a flame, to fix my...

RE: Blade MSR Main Rotor Grips - Washers and O-Rings

Nevermind, the lack of washers did not cause TBE. I'll be damned if I know what did. If I had to guess it was the fact that the main motor was pushed too far down. I pressed it down by mistake...

RE: Blade MSR Main Rotor Grips - Washers and O-Rings

I don't know if I have the brass washers or not, they could have fallen out, but the replacement blade grips I just put on are spaced wider than the ones that were there before and I now have massive...

MSR taught me how to fly ccpm

I couple of years ago I bought a Falcon 3D RTF. I had been flying an Esky Lama for months and thought I would give collective pitch a shot. I tried to fly it, but couldn't keep it up without...

RE: An easy way to balance MSR blades

I haven't tried it on the fly bar, but no reason it couldn't work.

When you say rotates, do you mean spins on its axis like you're applying rudder, or swings in circles like it's a pendulum on a...

RE: MSR Trim Issue

I have an issue with inconsistent rudder trim, where one battery needs a lot of left trim, and the next one wants to go back close to center. I've not had issues with any other trim settings and...

An easy way to balance MSR blades

My MSR was having some vibration issues due to the blades being out of balance. It didn't really affect how it flew too much, but I like a balanced machine. I don't have a blade balancer, but...

RE: Blade CX3 spinning out of control

Have you used the rudder trim? The two blades turn at different speeds to control spin, and the rudder stick controls this (left stick, moving left and right). You want to trim it so that it...

RE: Blade MSR banks right in forward flight

Thanks for the help guys. Saved me the trouble of sending in a perfectly good helicopter.

RE: MCX problems

JB-Heli, I am very fond of you right now. Yes, that was it. Took it out, flies good as new. Thank you so much!

RE: MCX problems

Nothing more than the normal hard landing. It is all trimmed out and flies nice when not acting up as described above. Why, what do you suspect?

MCX problems

My MCX used to fly great, until today. I'm having a strange problem.

First, sometimes it can't get enough throttle to lift off. I unplug it, plug it back in, it lifts off, and flies fine for...

RE: Blade MSR banks right in forward flight

Awesome. The tech rep at E-flite said that wasn't normal, so I was bummed I'd have to send it back, but I must not have explained it correctly or he must have pictured something other than what I...

RE: Blade MSR banks right in forward flight

Thanks. The right pitch seems excessive, it's like the heli can't fly straight without both left cyclic and rudder input. If that's normal, then I guess I have a lot to learn.

Regarding the...

Blade MSR banks right in forward flight

Hi,

I just got a blade MSR and I'm able to hover it and fly it around the room slowly. I have yet to crash it, and have only made hard landings on soft surfaces. Here's the problem I'm having...

Falcon 3D doesn't work in the cold?

This may be a stupid question, but I just got my Falcon 3D and I've put on the landing gear and was messing around trying to control it on the ground. It worked fine. I took it outside because it...

RE: heli behavior in fligh sims

So if I tilt it 10 degrees to the right, it will travel in that direction and stay tilted 10 degrees the entire time, or will it return to being upright but still continue moving? Doesn't its own...

RE: heli behavior in fligh sims

Credence,

Will the helicopter right itself, or will it still be tilted to the right as it moves? Will it eventually slow down and stop from drag? If so, how soon?

rcmaster123,

I...

RE: heli behavior in fligh sims

What I'm trying to find out is this...

In the sims, if you give the heli cyclic in one direction, it will tip slightly in that direction and move in that direction. If you then take your hands...

RE: heli behavior in fligh sims

Just a clarification...by "tip to the right" I meant give it a litle right cyclic so that it starts drifting to the right.

heli behavior in fligh sims

I have a question about how CP...

RE: Are helis supposed to fly straight?

I don't think so....it's a symmertrical setting. I think it controls the blade pitch. The longer the link, the more the blades are tilted (increased pitch) when the stabilizer bar is level.
