Depends on the model you are building. I'm working on a Cessna 152 and the full size is kept in a hanger and it is pristine! So mine will be a factory fresh look but my warbirds are weathered...

Your right, the area is huge! My airplane ended up at 17 lbs but flies great! It's powered by an ASP 1.08 and has plenty of power.

when doing my research, I searched the web for plastic models and found one. The detail is fantastic and 3 views were supplied. The small plastic model was only $7.00, hope this helps.
