Whats hurting you is your COG, or center of gravity, you need to lower everything some because that battery weight in the back is killing, the only thing i can say to try is to move your batteries up...

Narrowing your rims involves cutting the 2 outer lips off with a hacksaw to force the tire in more to give yourself more of a sidebit on the sidewalls, its a very easy modification and does help...
