RE: Nitro models pusher Bobcat?

Hi Xairflyer,

Not flown it yet but I’ve set spoilerons as GSK recommends. These will through increased drag reduce speed as well as reducing lift. I’ve used spoilerons on previous planes...

RE: Jetlegend T-45 Hawk

Hi Guys,

Please note that the current production fuse is somewhat lighter than the one I reviewed in RCJI.
Perhaps someone with a new kit could weigh the fuse?

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Hi MattyC-130,

Steve used HS225's on elevators and JR811's on ailerons and flaps.

RE: Jetlegend T-45 Hawk

Hi Jase,

Yes, I’m flying my T45 with the tailpipe/turbine set as in the pictures. I have approx 100 flights on her now. The pipe incidence effect (if any) is not a problem or even noticeable....

RE: JetLegend F-16 (1/8) Testflight

Hi Ubirajaramarques,

Had a similar problem which I eventually cured by lubricating the main cylinder, internally, with a little thick Silicon grease. A drop or two of very thin silicon lubricant...

RE: Jetlegend T-45 Hawk

Hi Nicola,

We need someone who's actually tried a T45 off grass to comment.

If the grass is short, the ground dry and hard I would imagine 18.4 lbf would get the T-45 airborne.

I have...

RE: JetLegend F-16 (1/8) Testflight

Hi ubirajaramarques,

I’ve no actual experience of the JL F-16 off grass and only 4 flights off tarmac so far...

With the MW54 on tarmac the acceleration is rapid and the take off run...

RE: FOX COMPOSITES Bae HAWK, Build thread

Hi Paul,

The wingspan advertised on Jim's website is 53". Do you know the span of the optional "Sport wing"?

Best regards,
Eric

RE: Elev Servo Flutter on T45

Hi Pantherman,

Here’s what I would do:

Temporally tape 2oz to the leading edge of each elevator half.

At rest and when the elevator stick is moved:
If the buzzing has stopped...

RE: Jetlegend T-45 Hawk

Hi Jonathan,

The kit “cube” tank at 2.75 litre capacity is fine. The tank is some 6 to 8” in front of the dry c of g (full UAT counts as dry) at 120mm.

A full tank obviously puts the...

Hi wing13

I'd recommend you balance level at 120 mm back from the LE at wing centre.

RE: Plumbing Two tanks in my Hawk

Hi Dennis,

My 2p's worth:

Plumb tanks in series using plain metal clunks. Use a proper BVM UAT not a central pickup header (everybody’s mileage varies!).

Include a BVM or Festo...

I’ve recently been distracted playing...

The scenario that Dave S paints, taken together with flying at an active military base don’t fill me with joy! The planes behaviour during the second and third flight did smack of...

I’m beginning to feel that the main issue is the relative...

RE: Wren54 MKIII kit, What is your impression?

Last year I had the pleasure of reviewing an MW54 Mk3 for RCJI. I would unreservedly recommend the engine.

Build is straightforward and the turbine can be ready to run in 3 to 4...
