I am building a pulling sled for Savages, T-Maxx's, etc to pull. It is around 3' long, and will carry 50lbs in the weight box. Our prototype is still a work in process, but it should be finished...

FYI, my version of a "Volkswagen engine" to go in this thing is a Fox 60. Overpowered and not very Cub-like, I know, but it ought to be fun!

I have the cowl all cut and fitted to my engine, but the cowl is a little fragile, and I'm afraid it'll break if it gets hit or something. So I would like to strengthen it...

I think I will make some tiny holes and put my thickest push-pins though the 1/4" dowel into the rest of the elevator. That will keep the dowel from tearing away from...
