Change to a steel spur gear. I had the same problem, tinny rocks and debris gets jammed in the gear and destroys it. I have 3 years in on a steel gear without a problem.

Oh Ya, and you also need a $80 four stroke exhaust pipe, It will over heat without it. You will also have to run a cooling fan if you run it in hot temperatures.

I am from Canada, I run my trucks in the snow all the time!! I have run them in -30 degree temps. YOU have to re-tune your engine for temp changes! You Will Not Hurt Your Motor if you tune it...

I have built 5 or 6 roll cages, 1/4" is much to large! try 3/16". I don't use a cage any more they are too heavy! and they are always in the way when you want to work on it. I now just have a roll...
