Change to a steel spur gear. I had the same problem, tinny rocks and debris gets jammed in the gear and destroys it. I have 3 years in on a steel gear without a problem.

Oh Ya, and you also need a $80 four stroke exhaust pipe, It will over heat without it. You will also have to run a cooling fan if you run it in hot temperatures.

I am from Canada, I run my trucks in the snow all the time!! I have run them in -30 degree temps. YOU have to re-tune your engine for temp changes! You Will Not Hurt Your Motor if you tune it...

OS engines has stopped making the FS-40S-C and the FS-26 four stroke Buggy engines. They still make lots of different aviation versions of the four stroke, but they are not the same. OS will sell...
