escs on aerohawk vlt limit questions

i have seperate escs.mpi20a main gws 5amp tail.has any one tried a 3cell lipo on either of these escs?they are both 8 cell escs.i know it will be very close if it does not fry it.im just not willing...

if you have a stock mixing board,it sounds like you need to increase the mixing.most have 2 adjustments,mixing and gyro gain(sensitivity)
and like rcgrinch said remove the throttle clicker inside...

it is not how far it moves,but how much it twists or turns.90 degrees is 90 degrees where ever it is mounted.

you can get a voltometer for 5- 10$ to check vlts at diff places in the wiring.

i also had to balance the tail prop and one paddle was .2g diff weight than the other.just a couple of small peices of tape fixed that.

i finally have my aerohawk flying almost perfect.it only took me burning up my stock board and getting a telebee hh gyro and using seperate escs and a lot of tweaking.

motor size in general is not calculated,it is more like the size of disposable batteries,aa aaa c d 300 370 400 600


but like the batteries one 300 can be ALOT stronger...

if an esc can take 10 cells 12vlts it can take a3 cell lipo but it may not have the correct vlt cut off.discharging lipos too low will ruin them.in most app i have seen them in the do not seem dead...

yes but you need to send power to both escs to send out to the motors but only the main needs to supply reciever power.just cut the red wire on the tail esc to disarm its bec.cut it in a way you can...
