I've had the same prob, but after a while, i noticed my carb was cracked and any hi-speed needle adjustments i made did absolutely nothing except make me think i was doing things once for a change

Well, i was starting to doubt the 2.5, because it was overheating constantly (even tho it was 10 degrees out), and it kept stalling and cutting out..

But then i found out my carbeurator was...

Do you mean the plastic antenna tube with the wire in it? or did the wire rip out of the receiver itself?

My tube came off the first few days i drove it, fixed it by simply buying a new one,...
