I just spray simple green on it and maybe use some alcohol on it every now and then and spray it off with my air compressor, cleans in minutes.

The best way to turn it off is the pinch the fuel line going into the HSN (High Speed Needle) It is said, but not know for a fact by myself, that if you just smother the exhaust stinger it can cause...

Whatever, than if you had the parts laying around then you didnt buy a new tmaxx and put a total of $100 into it and make it race ready. You used parts that you had laying around thet you had already...

Actually the more it sticks out of the truck the better, as longs as its not towering over the roofline your fine. That just means there is more room for air to flow through there and help cool...

I agree with that xplayer. It is ALL in how you drive it. And in order to race you dont and arent recomended to have any metal on your truck. Lightweight plastic is best. But to take a stock...

They probably will. You might want to check out robinson racings website to see if its listed on there as per fitments or just email them and ask if it will fit all maxxes.

I ran the golden horizons large cooling head for the 2.5 and it work pretty nicely for me. Dropped my temps by like 20-30+ degrees. I bought it at my lhs for $45 or so...Probably a bit cheaper online...

Oh and I also left out the Spur gears you will be eating up on a fairly regular basis, whether your gear mesh is right or not. Fuel Tubing, Fuel Filter, Ca Glue..I mean the list just goes on and on.

You think your only gonna spend $505 on that truck, think again. What about gas? $20-35 per gallon, glow plugs $3-8 each, batteries,...

I honestly spent the money on the robinson racing brake kit for $36 or whatever..I found it to be better than the stock brakes...But also a little more of a headace to maintain, pads wise and what...

I doubt it. If i could have my maxx weigh 3 pounds and still be strong enough to take a few hits I would do it. But I think thats impossible so nevermind.

I have no doubt in my mind it will walk all over a stock 2.5 witht hat p2. However i properly tuned one would give it a nice run, but still wouldnt prevail. However a properly tuned Sirio .18 I think...

dude....I race my truck...and anyone knows when it comes to racing a t-maxx it needs more than $100 to make it race ready. A set of big bores alone will set you back at least $50-80 bucks...then come...

With the fox hot plugs my truck ran like a dream..but hot as hell..I switched to a McCoy MC-9 and got awesome results because it was a cold plug..but only for a few tanks because I guess the glow...
