Doug,

Depends who made it, Mejzlik's are really good about balancing their props, but I always check. And I check the their Spinners too.
You'll find that 99% of the time they balance. Always...

Doug,

You could get two 5200's li-ons on the motor box (~6 oz each) and go to a Tru-Turn Alum. Spinner that would add ~ 4-5 oz and the nose. You would have a spinner to match your Landing Gear,...

Great job so far, keep up the good work.

I've heard of others that did this also, 'made the Canopy & Hatch all one piece' , this should make life allot easier for the interior set-up....

Doug,

I would suggest that you go with your gut instinct first and build it. Not sure if you've done any Giant Scale stuff, but this would make a great entry into building, setting up and Flying...

I like Albert's answer to the question for a couple of reasons; he Builds them (Cardens) and Flys them, and he does both very well.
