RE: Flair SE5A Build Thread

Well, I don't have to worry about that now, because I sold it to a member of my field. I needed money to finish my R&S F-16 and my KMP P-38. I had covered it and painted it and it ended up sitting...

RE: Flair SE5A Build Thread

Hi
There is a viewable vickers on the plans which shows you where to place, but I used http://storage.mfa.free.fr/se5photo3uk.html for most of my aligning of the vickers. The plans show where...

RE: Flair SE5A Build Thread

Here's the last three. I didn't want to cut up the gun kit, so I built the hatch to allow access and to look neat. It may not be perfect scale, but it is roughly the same size and in the same area....

RE: Flair SE5A Build Thread

Well, here's 7 new pics. When I finished the bottom wing, I put everything together and took a couple pics. The first three are different angles. The fourth is the cockpit with I roughly cut with...

RE: Flair SE5A Build Thread

I don't have new pics, but I've finsihed the lower right wing panel, and I've nearly finished the lower left wing. I'll post pics when I get back from exams later today.

RE: Flair SE5A Build Thread

Sorry I haven't posted any updates lately. After christmas, I didn't get a chance to fly for 5 weeks. Not flying, for some reason made me not want to build. I finished the top wing, though, and...

RE: Flair SE5A Build Thread

I started one wing panel and its nearly done, but my work has been slowed down do to getting sick (almost passed out in church from "non-drowsy" cold medicine). School also restarted today and...

RE: Flair SE5A Build Thread

New pics. I've gotten a lot done. I need to find some copper wire for the landing gear braces/supports. Then I'll be done with the fuse for now. The kit is good quality, and the plastic radiator...

RE: Flair SE5A

I've gotten a lot done. For once, I remembered to grab the camera during the build. I didn't like that I had to cut out the forward former to fit the new tank they include. It was set up for a...

RE: Flair SE5A

I'm not sure on power, but if I were to do a 4-stroke, I would do a Saito .56 or a Thunder Tiger .54 (Know anything about these?). But, being 16, without a vehicle yet to get to a job, income is...
