that AMA wants to sell iteself to folks
but AMA isnt offering / doesnt know what folks want to buy

I seem to recall posters justifying it for the other mods:

Toolman you're wasting your time and breath trying to change certain "minds". Some of the yes-men around here do nothing but hang in this forum just to stir the pot. Nothing the AMA or it's clubs do...

In the past decade AMA has shrunk like 30k.
DIYDrones has grown to 15k.

The economy hasnt stopped THAT group from growing,
so maybe we should look at...

Flying season starts Jan1 and ends around Dec31
unless you fly in places like indiana and such.

The VegasAces club field WAS the school field,
so its hard to see how the same field is Nicer one way or the other,
unless you were flying 1/2A Glow there before the clubbing up to Electric...

There was a bunch of guys flying in a school yard,
a school yard that didnt require folks to have insurance nor did the school have a Electric Only rule.

I refer you to the PPP flagship club Vegas Aces.
They were a bunch of guys flying at a school, not a AMA chartered club.
Then they formed a club at that school,
and the same guys CONTINUED...

the AMA slice is 140, and the DIYDrones slice is 15.
