GMM,
I've done just what you do. I use the 1/4 scale hinges from radio south and always seal my hinge line.

No offense taken rcguy1

What leads you to that conclusion? Are we to take everything you say as gospel?

I just want to...

I'll let you all know when my CA hinges fail. I've had plenty of flights and they haven't failed. I've also seen lots of CA hinges on 40% airplanes at Joe Nall and have never heard anyone complain...

Aeromodeler,
Unless there is something solid beneath the root of the wing and control surface I don't really see how you will gain by using Robart hinges. The material of the beveled trailing and...

I used the Radio South pro CA hinges and have many flights with no hint of a problem.

The BME 50 is having a little problem with the ignition but I understand it will soon be worked out. I have the BME 50 and it's running great. I had my ignition changed out and haven't had any...

Try getting a buddy and check the balance where it says on the instructions. The little book that comes with the airplane. (sorry)

The balance point with the fuel tank empty is 3 13/16", not 3...

That could be rcguy1 but I've used mine dozens of times with no RFI problems and I've seen the TME system on dozens of other aircraft with no problems either. Not to say that something isn't wrong...

TME Smoke System

Perhaps some of you have seen the great smoke system installation done by Bob Pastorello on his site. If you haven't, it's worth taking a look at how he installed a smoke system in his Patty. ...

PCM

I've read that it isn't a good idea to use PCM to solve problems with RFI. When you do that you're just masking the problem, not eliminating it. Properly set up there should be no RFI from your...

Turbo

I'd love to see Sandor put twin turbo's on an appropriately sized OV10 Bronco. Now that would be something sweet. OV 10's are turbo prop powered and seeing a model of one would be great.
