Well, I maidened the velox today. Flew well, only problem I had was it wants to tuck toward belly a bit in knife edge which surprised me since it is well known for its KE. Possibly change the cg?

No problem. All that is holding mine from flight is waiting on the clevises and little bolts. It came with the BB control horns but no clevesis:(. Hopefully they will show up soon.!!!

roy,


my canopy was thin at edges as well but I just used canopy glue instead of screwing it in. It should be fine this way. Somewhat permament installation but that is way most of my canopies...

Well, I went to mount the engine using the Dave Brown mount and found out it wont work for this plane, so I am back to the stock mount. I measured, measured and then remeasured:D to get the mount...

I run my 1.10 on 15% and it has tons of power and no idling probs on 15%. The .63 has a reputation for needing some extra nitro and lower throttle positions. Anyway, I was going to order the 1.10...
