RE: Hangar 9 F-22 Raptor PTS

Yea, there's a good theory behind that PTS prop - It won't let the student go too fast, and (As you noticed) it slows down RIGHT NOW when you throttle back.

But I think it's almost too much for...

RE: Hangar 9 F-22 Raptor PTS

Sound like a classic stall to me. It can be decieving at first because it seems to float in very gently, but once it stalls, it stalls RIGHT NOW. So keep a little speed up when landing.

And as...

RE: Hangar 9 F-22 Raptor PTS

Here's a mod that my dad did to his. It really helped to streamline those jet intakes

RE: Hangar 9 F-22 Raptor PTS

You are talking about swapping a 16oz engine (1 lb) with a 5oz battery.

Compound this with the fact that the engine will have to sit considerably further back than the battery currently does.

RE: Hangar 9 F-22 Raptor PTS

Removing that much weight from the nose, and then adding it to the tail would require so much nose weight to balance the plane that I think it would become way too heavy

But I'd take an OS 46 over both of them

RE: Hangar 9 F-22 Raptor PTS

RE: Hangar 9 F-22 Raptor PTS

I don't see the big deal over the price. It's only $50 more than the Mustang and it has a 6-channel radio compared to the Mustang's 5.
