Nick,

Can't you get any drawings of this section from maintenance manuals, that will show exactly whats involved hinging and actuation process for the visor. Like you say So if you can find...

Here you go, i noticed in couple pictures of Galaxies that USAF us a liner or blanket covering the structure of the Visor where as Airbus left it open on the A300-600STs "Beluga's"...

Nick,

Can't you tach the visor back on the main fuselage and then go form inside and make lite ply former ring for it and glue it in 1" back from the lip or joint on the visor, then if you leave...

Alright, i hear ya Nick, like i said i didn't knew about this term 'Visor" applied to nose of C5s.

To me Visor is the retractable wind shield on Concorde for sub-sonic and supersonic cruise...

OH so when nose it opened, it's called Visor....Hmmm very interesting!. I didn't knew it b4, learned something new today about this configuration about C5s. So does this corresponds to B747Fs also...

What ru guys talking about, what Visor?, i don't know of any Visor on C5 unless it's an area that i don't know about on Galaxy....

Great Nick, can't wait to see how ur C5 will look once fully completed. I know when i get to the stage where i have all the needed parts and they could be dry fitted, well i fit them together to see...

Hey Nick,

Are you thinking on the lines of operating the nose and aft doors to open n close with ramp in the nose, or would these be just moulded in the fuselage?, it would be real cool to have...
