one thing you might try for getting more forward flight is changing the angle of the tail motor. on the picco if you angle it pointing up or down, you get more or less speed. i dont know if it...

hey Tim,
thanks for the photos. could you do me a favor and get a close up shot of the tail assembly? (i.e. tail prop/gyro).
