BTW if you buy from there shipping to Canada is $15.04 and to the US would be even cheaper.

like around the 120-150 dollar mark.
i mean it probably cost them like 70 dollars to make. ESPECIALLY in china.
the mark up would be like almost 150.
unless they use a 3 tear system of...

I remember a while ago at one of our club meets a guy brought down a original hydromite with a brushed mod motor i think it was called the Krystal motor or something.
and the RIPED with a 10 cell...

I agree with you John
it is the exact same. But less torque with the hight KV motor because you need more amps.

You don't want lift from a trun fin
I said a turn fin is to keep the boat planted to the ground but still allow for the lift to keep the boat "hydro planing " across the water.

MY cat Doesn't have turn fins.
My LSH doesn't either But thats cuz i just finished building it and still need to put one on ;)

All turn fins help in many ways. They help to keep the boat sucks to the water, notice how most turn fins are rounded out to the bottom of the boat ?
That is like a "wing" to keep the hull on...

They would be the same speed.
7*5400 =37800
14*2700=37800
BUT with the 7 volt one you will have longer run times , and the the 14 volt one you will have more power = more speed because of...

the 5400 you can put a 4 cell lipo in . 14 is with that motor water cooled will be fine.
it's not the volts that kills you its the amps;)

Mamba 5400 or 4200 motor will work out
But if you motor is blown return it because that would be like paying 500 for a hull esc and servo.

just a little side not . but that hull has so much lift a 8 cell nimh pack would be no problem for it .
