In case any other readers are thinking of getting a Fox 3.2 (Sachs) the engine is 5.5 inches from firewall to back of spinner. Since this engine has it's own radial mount you'll need 1.5 inch...

My Fox 3.2 arrived today. Since the biggest engine I had before this one was a Moki 2.1 all I can say is "holy ___!" That's one big engine. Kinda scares me just sitting there. :D

Looks like some shipping damage. Like it took a hard hit from the top of the fin and crushed the top of the fuse. Does it move at all?

Contact GP, ASAP. Hope they have lots of spare fuselages....

My wings are a perfect fit. No gaps, front back or middle. I haven't done anything else to the plane except slide in the wing tube and mount the wings as I am still waiting for the engine, servos...

That's a thought if I lived in Anchorage but I'm in the interior of the state. The main show-stopper for winter is the temperature. By mid October it's hovering near zero and by December we're down...
