I used the Skymaster pipe and mounted it upside down. The thrust angle appears to match the full scale pretty closely, and I haven’t experienced any pitch changes with throttle.

As Buck said, the battery holders are made by Ron Schwarzkopf, RSMP. They are simple little 3D printed holders that the A-123 packs fit in perfectly, and are held in place by a single velcro strap....
