Were you able to get a glimpse of the new Boeing hangar from the pattern? They plan on building the 787 there once it gets in major production mode.

NAS Kef was OK to crew rest. We stayed downtown once and enjoyed the place. Take lots of Raman Noodles as the place has the hottest water you've ever known... all natural thermo vents everywhere. ...

Chuckling. I've 5,000 hours sitting sideways in C-141 much of it flying engines and MICAP to C-5s all around the world.
