yes i did get to try it on the 2S2P li-po pack, here is a link to the video of it flying with the 7.4 volt pack.

i will let you be the judge of it but it seems to be alittle better ...

im as for the plane itself it flies very nice , ROG etc... now for the battery packs i have been using SCR 2400 nicad 7 cell and GP3300 nimh and my flights have been in the 7to 8 minutes...

the stock prop size is a 12x10 it seems to work Ok with the stock can motor but the plane could use more power as it is a little slow.
