The valve lash is always set on a cool engine, besides, push rods are made from hardened steel not aluminum!

Nubee, did you lubricate the valves and rockers while adjusting, the valves maybe sticking which could allow the push rods to fall out?

One thing though, The McDaniels unit draws current, aprox. 20ma. even though the receiver is off. I connected a heavy duty switch between batt. and glow drvr. ie. MPI capable of 10 amps. with deans...

Hi, cymaz, I use the McDaniel glow drivers on 7 and 9 cylinder radials utilizing the wires provided and they work fine. You don't have to change a thing.

Tom, Omega fuels, made by Morgan Fuels puts out a 12% (30% caster,70% syn.) oil, 10% nitro called 'Super T' which was originally made for Super Tiger engines. I run it in my 7 and 9 cylinder...
