a couple pics of the motor in question with its current exhaust. I might also rework the ducting for cooling air too, I will have more room in the hurricane to work with. Thats the one drawback...

Hi I had a good look at the plans, i see no reason as such for all spruce stringers either, and I will do roughly the same replace a good chunk of the stringers with straight grained balsa.

on the subject of tailwheel assemblies, I have noticed there are 2 different types, 2 pics showing a mk2 and a mk 12. food for thought depending on which model you are building

I have been in touch with several companies in the US, samne story across the board, they dont have enough quality balsa to worry about sending any over.

count me as subscribed too, I also have a set of vailey plans and I am slowly getting all the bits and pieces together. Balsa is looking to be my biggest headache, the last batch I ordered was...
