RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

sorry, I was referring to DX7 switches.

If I remember right, the gain POT on the gyro will not work if you have set it up for remote gain adjustment, meaning if you have connected the remote...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

Ginzz,

Setup your head just the way I described it. Then you program your TX for normal flight mode while learning. When you are ready, you can program your idle up settings, without...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

Once you use the DX6i, all your servos will lose it's programming because of the fact that you will now be using a different RX/TX. Your servo might be perfectly aligned right now, but when you...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

You have to bind the RX with the TX before you do any programming.

Before you start setting up the rotor head, activate EXP on your Swash Mix menu. Set percentages to 50%. Then check to see if...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

the importance of learning nose-in hovering and flying. It is really disorienting the first time you do it. I'm glad you were not hurt.

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

Rob,

I believe the stock blue Art-Tech battery that comes with the shark is 25c 2200mah. The stock battery is quite "short" compared to other batteries. I have used AirThunder 2200mah 25c...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

401 definitely drifts with sudden temperature changes. Experienced it again on my Diablo yesterday.

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

I have not seen any reviews on the Shark. As per my experience, the only problem that I encountered with this heli is parts availability. My Shark is now a frankenstein because of this. Here is a...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

You will need the one-way bearing tool to transfer the bearing to the V2 main gear. I just bought the v2 main gear with the one-way bearing installed.

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

Check for vertical tail fin vibrations when you fly it again. If the tip of the fin is a blur, it will make a very loud noise. You should then check for bent parts, especially the main shaft and...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

It will. But before you buy an align belt, try ordering the maverik(?) from heliproz. I got one installed on mine right now and I've heard good things about it. Will see how it lasts.

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

To be absolutely unbiased, the Shark that I got will not compare to a V2 or a Diablo. I have examined the V2 belonging to my brother-in-law and I also have 2 Diablos (I am selling one of them)...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

Frame parts are not compatible, so be careful not to strip your boom mounts, main gear bearing holders, motor frame, etc.

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

You are right, LHS has the align parts. I just installed a complete RC-Tek plastic rotor head assembly and flew her again today . Yes, this is a tough bird, good for practice.

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

I started this thread but haven't read this for quite awhile and I am surprised to see some activity here. Good to know that more fliers are discovering this bird.

As for my Shark 450, well...

RE: Art-Tech Shark 450

This is not an ebay purchase. I get my batteries from ebay and I have been lucky so far.

Flew the heli today and I am impressed. I think this is the best value for the money. There is...

Art-Tech Shark 450

Any thoughts on this RTF heli?

Been reading in some forums that this is the improved version of the Falcon 3D. All metal head, brushless motor, HH gyro, belt-driven tail. Has anyone flown...
