Check with Texas Timers. They have a number of pressure fittings, but their checkvalve is not like the metal one Bob posted.

What if you make up a simple plug from brass tubing with a cap soldered on one end. Leave yourself an inch or so of tubing free inside the fuselage. With the plug in place, you can push it flush...
