BTW, there is an advantage to getting licensed though. In addition to the other channels, there is also equipment availability. 1.2 and 900 MHz has a lot of easy to find gear through the ham outlets....

Mr. RC is correct. Also be aware that most freqs above 1.2 Ghz band are "Freebands" which anyone
can use.
