I'm presuming that as my callipers say its a 4.78mm flex that your spot on with the 3/16 coupler. I have now ordered one from Fine Designs as his shipping costs are far more realistic...

Well bits are arriving tho the motor and mounts will take a few weeks to get here.

I'm not sure about the position of the motor and batteries in the boat do I get them as close to the rear of...

When I get down to it and all the bits are here I'll try to sort a vid of now... strip out... rebuild and vid of after same as I normally do on the Monster GT forum on here for the 3 trucks I have...

Well ordering is well under ways.

Parts orgered are:-
stinger with shaft etc
fibreglass and fibreglass filler (reinforce the boat)
rudder with pickup
turn fins
servo

Do you know where I can get 8mm couplings from? It would need to fit adjustable shaft I last linked to. Am gonna sorce the parts after I have seen if I can do some dealings.

Can you get an 8mm coupling to fit it... cos its eaier to ge the 8mm shaft version of the Neu motor over the 5mm shaft version?

I will have to meet up one day when I get this thing up and...

Do you know of any other motors that are the same as the Neu 1527 1Y as it could be difficult to get this motor to the UK at a good price.

I have no problem with that as I enjoy the build and modification as much as the play. Do you have a link to a shaft which does not go to Ebay as for some reason I can't seem to get on Ebay right...

How do you calculate the angle of the prop shaft? I could change it quite easily in this boat as I am quite experienced with fibre glass. Could you advise a better prop shaft?

Forgot to ask, with the motor that you propose can you advise a prop to use as well please and an approx spead I should be gettting. Thanks again.

The ESC will only run up to 22.2V so 6 cell lipo is the limit for the moment. Can you recomend a good powerfull motor that would drive this boat at as high speed as possible. Price is not an issue. ...
