Well I finally got a chance to mount the new P-90-RXI in a test bed Formost. Very easy install. Mount the turbine, ECU, data coupler, Plug in the fuel and it is ready to go. Upon starting all went well I used the gas to purge the system. About 3/4 way thru start I notice the GSU has locked up. Not working Start went well, Turbine ran well, But i had no idea what it was doing. After shutdown, I noticed that if I turned it all off for a couple minutes and turned it back on, it worked for about 1 Minute, than locked . I changed the cable and it still did the same. I am using the old square GSU.
Any Ideas what is up with this . GSU is working with the P-20 same GSU.

Try and change the ribbon to the other plug on the I/o board. They are interchangeable. I have seen hyroglyphics on my gsu before and this seems to cure that. Also you can unplug and replug the ribbon connector into the ecu. This will help also as the small ribbon that connects the I/o bard to the ecu is very finicky.

Jumpen the gun, I get to the field and it didn't work again. The turbine ran well. I made a flight on the formost. The data logger showed that I flew 5.6 miles and had a top speed of 129.9 MPH.

I ran my P90 for the first time today. Started and ran well but would only ramp up to about 120,000 RPM. Checked the limit menu and it shows 130,000 for max RPM. Tomorrow I will do another RC Learn in case I goofed up something the first time, then try it again. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Yep, and it is less money than the other Jetcats. Pump valves and filter are inside the front housing. and it is kero start. just mount the I/O board and place your ECU and turbine and GO FLY.
bob1393 Mine maxed out at 131500.
Still funny it will work for a minute, than freeze up.

DrDoom - after relearning the ECU and doing a start, I got the same results. So I called Bob Wilcox at JetCat USA and he asked me if I had installed a filter between the UAT and the turbine. I did, so he told me to remove it and try again. It worked perfect after removing the filter.
Usually in line filters are installed after the fuel pump, but on a P90 RXi the pump is inside the case and thus the filter I put on was installed before the pump, on the suction side. A lot of drag for the fuel pump.

Hi,
Had the same problem yesterday with the old square GSU when i wanted to learn in the transmitter for the P90RXi. Changed to new GSU delivered with the P90 and everything worked fine.
No filter, as filter installed in turbine, 6mm PUN from tank to hopper to turbine no problem running it.
