I have just bought a 9C and I have owned a 6XAS for some time now. I have on order a trainer cord that will go between both Tx's. My question is can I use the cord both ways? Can I have the 6XAS as the master and then switch and have the 9C as the master? I know I may loose some mixing options going from the six to the nine channel but I just want to know is it is possable to switch at all?

Hi sbenter,
Yes, you can use the 6XAS as the master or the slave with the 9C. You will just want to make sure that if using the 9C as Master that you have the Trainer function enabled, and if using it as the Slave, it needs to be disabled. Also if using a PCM receiver, and you are using the 6XAS as the slave, you must still have the 6XAS in FM/PPM mode.
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

Ok let me get this strait... If I am using the 9CAP (PCM) as Master then the 6XAS has to be set to FM/PPM? OK then If the 6XAS (FM/PPM) as Master do I have to change the 9CAP to the same modulation? I am a little confused if the slave is never powered on isn't the Modulation taken then from the Master?
