I notice a lot of RC flyers when they fly often wear a golf Polo shirt and a baseball cap, which I happen to wear also. You seem to rarely see them wear a T-shirt.

The field we have here at the all natural nature camp requires that all flyers must wear shorts or at least underwear. you learn real quick not to squat to close to the prop or muffler, thats one of the reasons people call me shorty.

T-shirt, jeans, always a hat, and on the hot days, a light, white (that's important) fulll sleeve shirt. Stops the burning!! and surprisingly does keep you cool. Also keeps the mosquitos at bay!!

T-shirt and shorts, or tshirt and pants, depends on the weather. There goes you're 'Only polo shirts' theory
I tend to stick to old worn out clothes, I don't want to bother trying to get fuel stains out of new clothes.
As for the baseball cap, it's a must, the sun in always overhead or in front of us, so the cap really helps in preventing getting blinded by the sun.

I have never worn a polo shirt while flying, t-shirt and jeans or when it's hot a t-shirt and what the guy's at the field call my pajama pants, and all to soon my snowmobile suit.

Shorts or jeans here, usually lined in plastic. I also wear old t-shirts unless it's a funfly or something, then maybe a polo type shirt.

I've never worn a polo shirt while flying.......I have some dirty old clothes that I always wear. I'll leave the polo shirts to the fancy heli guys at our field....

I'll frequently go flying during lunch and or right after work....so I always wear business casual, nice shoes.
I have had a few comments like, "how do you keep so clean?"..I fly four strokes so it's much easier....I usually always have a grab and go plane with me..and I have a couple of nice fields just a few minuets up the street from me.
I have even flown in a suit...several times in fact, after a meeting...you know how meetings are.
Weekends are shorts/tee/polo (summer) sweats/fleece in the winter.

Well, living here in Texas, my normal flying attire consists of cargo shorts, tee shirt, cap, and my oldest pair of shoes. For that 1 or 2 days of the year that it gets cold, I just fly on the simulator.

Since I rarely leave the field as clean as I came, it's my "garage" attire. Old shirt and jeans or shorts. If I wear shorts, then I still throw in a pair of jeans and hiking boots in the truck in case I have to go bushwacking. I can't count how many times I had to play George of the Jungle to retrieve another guys plane because he wasn't dressed to ford creeks, trudge through high grass, and fend off mosquitos, ticks, and snakes.

Oh ya, and clean underwear, never leave home without a spare pair of clean underwear. Never know when I might run into a rattlesnake or bear you know.

White button-down shirt with bowtie, checkered golf pants, pocket protector, 17 pencils, pens, markers, big horn rimmed glasses, crew cut, worn out black wingtip shoes.

I only wear long pants to the field, especially now that the corn and beans around our field are high. Never know when you might need to wade through them to recover something
