Hello there. I bought two S3010 servos. I haven't used them yet, but I saw on a tower flyer that it is a "only 6.0V" servo??? I dind't plan to get a 5-cell battery, so I'd like to know if I would harm the servo (AND MY PLANE!) if I use a 4.8V battery.
I posted her about it a few months ago, is it still correcto info?

Thanks a lot!

Hi J.Paul,
Yes, the information in your link is correct the torque at 4.8V for the S3010 is 72.2 oz-inches.
Using 4.8 volts with this servo will not harm it or your plane.
I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.
