I just convinced my wife to get me a U CAN DO .46 for Christmas this year. Still have to wait till then to see if it is under the tree, but I was wondering what others might want and may be getting that is R/C Related?

I think Santa's going to bring me a Spitfire ARF this year, but as he's not done checking his list yet I don't think he's decided which one to get...

Little early to worry about that isn't it? Get it now and get part for it then like engines or new radio.

If I work it right I might get a GP flight sim and all the add ons. This may cost me as my wife only liked clothes and diamonds and her closet is full.

You can bet that if it's for Christmas, I bought it for myself!

Mama doesn't care much for my hobby!
Then again, I don't care much for cross-stitching!

Maybe I'll sweet talk her into something flyable...

The horror stories are not from the users that you actually know and can speak to first hand? There are plenty of Evos in the UK and I have not yet heard of one problem, usually I get to know fairly quick if there are Mpx problems. Sims freezing is a standard Microsoft behaviour, not the model Tx!

Have you got a sim, it will work to practice on. What planes do you have? some can be set up to do some 3 D with little mods. You can always start small. Lots of little tricks to do to them.

To Nedyob - I'm going to buy a Futaba 9CAP this winter. How do you like yours (hope its better than a JR - I'm a Futaba guy from way back) Stopped waiting for Santa along time ago when one of my students kept Waiting until his birthday or Christmas to do the next thing. Go get it and get on with it!!

Dude, you will love that radio! I had just bought an 8UHP when it came out. I ordered a 9CHP for a friend because I owed him some money on a trade, took it out of the box when it came and held it for about 30 seconds, and picked up the phone to order another for me. It just feels good in your hands. The programming is so much better than the 8U series. You will love it! Congrats on it early.
