Default Tower Hobby

Man these guys are getting fast. I hit the submit order button on Thursday evening and the order was delivered Saturday morning. There is a downside to this though. Usually I have these timed to arrive during the week when the better half is at work. Guess who answered the door for this package..
Next order I guess I will just hit the submit button and go stand at the door..

I have also found there service to be very fast, especially being in the Bay Area, when the items come from their Reno warehouse. I pay for the cheapest possible shipping and most times get the stuff the 2nd day.

I've been a Super Saver member since 1991 and have always received excellent service from Tower and they seem to be getting better, especially since they are shipping from Reno now. I like their tech answers at the lower part of the page on the web. They tell you most of the things you want to know about the product. The people that process the orders are always available for help. Much more so than most of the other websites. They have the widest selection of modeling supplies, certainly so if you use their "shop by manufacturer" pages. I pay by credit card and I also pay the bills at home so my wife only knows I got a package but never how much it cost. If it's a large package she may ask how much so I tell her what I think she wants to hear and emphasize that it was on sale and I got a bargain.

Ballgunner,
You are a wise man and it's obvious you have studied the female mind. To a woman, if a purchase was made "on sale", then no further justification is needed. In fact, I don't believe it is possible to purchase anything from Tower at "full retail price".

Tower is always pretty fast for me. Been using them since their big catalog was just a flyer.

Guess I too will say the same thing as everyone else. I placed an order for an Avistar ARF, Futaba 9CAP system, O.S. 46FX, 3 props, a Starter, Glow plug, Glow plug wrench, prop balancer, fuel hand pump, fuel tubing, and a few other small items as my first RC order ever on a Wed, I was just getting into the hobbie. The two boxes were at my door the following evening. I could not believe it and thought surely it was a mistake. Very fast indeed.

We men are conditioned by women. We like lab rats, learn the right response in order to get the reward All women and all men are in many ways the same. In many ways we will never change. I think all the married modelers learn the same bag of tricks when it comes to getting that plane through the back door.

Tower is very efficient indeed. My last plane order arrived in three days at the lowest rate. Not bad. Both were in perfect shape, no damage. Gotta love em. I am going to order the Futaba 6EXA from them before the end of the month. With the sales code, joining the Super Saver Club, free shipping, and Futabas rebate, the radio will cost me $10.01 less than they have it listed for.

Bah! I'm not impressed.

If they were really that good or fast, I wouldn't even HAVE to order, they would know what I want, and when, and it would just show up!
