Default problem with futuba 6exa

i was taking the battery out to cycle it, wish i never did. When i was pulling out the connecter the tweezers i was using hit something and caused a short. It turns on, and eveything else works but the receiver wont pick up a signal. I didn't have any problems till that happened. Did i void the warrenty? What can i do to fix it? Thanks

Hi Joe123s,

We don't recommend that you use metallic tweezers to remove your battery. You should be able to remove this by simply pulling straight out on the battery wire.
In this case, I believe the radio should be sent in to be checked, the tweezers may have shorted something out inside and it is better to be safe than sorry.

I hope you find this information helpful. You can also reach our Futaba support technical team at 217-398-8970, or via fax at 217-398-7721.

Sincerely,
