Default new guy figured id say hello

just as the title says. im the punk ass newbie. id just like to say thanx to this forum and my research from the search feature i chose my 2nd stadium truck. lets hope the jato doesnt let me down. no im not gunna be racing the truck just playing around in the front yard. i live on a farm plenty of places to tear up.

so far i just ordered the truck havnt ordered anything else yet. ive got a few questions id like to ask before i do so. fuel is one i used 20% in my old rc10 but i know every motor likes diff brands of fuel. what would you guys say is the best for what ive read the so/so 2.5 that will be replaced when it dies. also what glowplugs do you guys like with this motor. as far as tires as soon as i find some rims i like untill they make some tires for the 2.8's im gunna go with the gladiators and the edges. prob gunna go with a pull start. just gunna kinda wait and see what the market throws out there as far as pipes and a-arms and such. seeing so many mixed reviews besides tires what else is the major need to buy for the jato. but other than that hello to all.

As far as fuel goes, ive heard from many 2.5 owners that for some reason, the Traxxas fuel works best in the 2.5 traxxas motors.

If you have a 2.5 DO NOT GET ANYTHING BUT THE TRAXXAS FUEL! The makers of the engine and the fuel spent years and research on these 2 things. They highly suggest for great proformance and engine life to use traxxas top fuel with the 2.5 engine. Also, watch the break in video, it will tell you a certain way to break in the engine.

I bought the 2.5R engine for my nitro 4-tec, watched the break in DVD, and broke it in. I have no over heating problems and nothing has gone wrong with the engine.
