2.how long does a tank of fuel last?
3.how many tanks are in a gallon of nitro?
4. how long do glowplugs last?
5. How much does maintence cost?
I probialy have more questions but that's all for now

1. About a quart of fuel, or maybe about 8 tanks.
2. 6-10 minutes depending on tune
3. A lot
4. Depending on tune, glow plugs can last anywhere from one tank to several gallons. I've heard of someone's OS A3 plug lasting 8 gallons. On average though, a plug might see 1-2 gallons.
5. As long as you have the right stuff, maintanance shouldn't cost you a thing. That is unless of course you plan on letting the LHS do all the dirty work.
And by the way, this is the forum you should be at. http://globalservices.globalhobby.co...wforum.php?f=9

i think Valve gave you the perfect answer, but this is what i think:
1)4-6 tanks
2)onroad it will last around 6 min, of road 6-10
3)40-50, also depends on the size of the fuel tank.
4)definately depends on tune.
5)depends, if you want to start upgrading, it will cost, but like in every car, maintence costs.
hope that helps

re question 3(how long does a gallon of fuel last)
1 gallon=4500 cc
my tank(not all the same size)165cc
4500/165= 28 fuel tanks
But as alex7 said depends on the size of fuel tank and engine size/tuned state

I am obviously biased but me and my mates have between us,1 2wd buggy.1 4wd buggy.2 2wd stadium trucks.2 4wd monster trucks. 1 1/5 th scale fg marder. We all agree (depending on the terrain) a 4wd monster truck is the best package.I would decide mainly on where you are going to run it.flat 2wd.hills rough 4wd...........

IMHO...
1. 4-7 tanks
2. 3 mins to 15+...depends how you drive
3. Assuming you want a nitro st, a fuel tank capacity is 75cc. One US gallon is 128 fl. oz or 3,785.4118...cc's. So, there are approx. 50.4721573 tanks of fuel in a gallon. For a 125cc T-Maxx tank, its about 30.2832944 tanks.
4. I have about 15 tanks through my RC10GT, and still have to burn out the stock plug...did break in with the same plug as well. But, I've seen plugs last two seasons.
5. Pistons/Sleeves/Connecting rods are fairly inexpensive for stock engines...with a high quality engine (OS etc), its essentially cheaper to get a new engine. Other than that, you'll need after run oil, and air filter oil, and other stuff, which lasts quite a while...I've been using the same bottle of after run oil in all my nitro RCs for over a year.
6. Its handy to have a temp gun, but the water drop method is suffecient enough...but a temp gun would be A LOT of help...
7. You'll need a new piston and sleeve about every 3-8 gallons.

that sucks, it think that if you are buying the maxx you should get a manual, just to be prepared for anything, or to reset everything, etc.
