Hey guys,
I've dusted off my Tamiya XBG10 and started using it again but it's started making a noise which I remembered from last time. A horrible clicking coming from the back of the car on WOT from a standstill or when steering is hard over. I'm tempted to pull it apart to find out if the diff gears are jumping or stripped, but I'd rather get a second opinion before I go straight into that!
The other thing is are there many spare parts available for this car? Or upgrades even? The handling is a bit shoddy tbh with ploughing understeer (I'm ready to remove the front driveshafts so that it'd rear wheel drive, should make it a bit more fun
) but is there any way of getting the fronts to bite a bit harder? Is it just a case of different wheels/tyres or are there suspension mods, anti roll bars etc. that can be added?
Cheers.
Rob

Not familiar with this car, but if it coming from the back of the car then it is most likely the diff, the diff on my tlt crawler has gone bad and it was from the diff, i too got that horrible clicking noise. I would just take it apart, i mean that is the only way to fix it. Once you take it apart you will probably find it is easier to do then then you thiught.
