Default Air bubbles in shocks?

Hi,as you may have read from my other thread im putting shock oil 30wt in my stock savage shocks.A few of the shocks i have heard air bubbles,so i unscrewed the shock cap and their are air bubbles.I let them all rise and escape but then they some back again when i push the shocks up and down a few times.Does it really matter if their are bubbles in some, and what will happen if i dont stop the problem? Thanks.

When you fill the shocks slowly move the piston (shock shaft) up & down to remove most of the air bubbles. Let the shocks settle for a little while as the rest of the air bubbles come to the surface, then top-up with the shock oil until full & screw on the cap. You don't want too much air in your shock as it will reduce your shocks dampening properties

You should fill the shock to about a 1/4 incha above the top do what boydie said and work the piston. Then let it sit for about 5 minutes after the bubbles are gone or most of them are. Top off until its 1/4 inch from the top again and compress the shock until the oil reaches the top and screw the cap on. If you compress your shock all the way with the spring off it should come out about half an inch by itself. Any more and you run the risk of blowing the shock cap off on a hard impact.
