First of all, what would happen if i were to use 7000 in the front and the rear? and does anybody know what the stock oil is? Is it different in the front and the rear stock?

There is no stock oil.... They put in grease from the factory. Currently I just put in 10K AE Diff oil in the fron and rear. Ill see how it works out when I break in my STS .30 but for now it takes a bit more to spin the wheels which means its definitely heavier than the grease[8D]

hi,
anyone knows if i must use oil in the Savage difs or grease and how much?
the manual says grease , but how much?
if i put oil, will it stay inside or just all over the place?
auto transmision oil will be ok (sae80)?
thanks very much

For the inside of the diffs you can use oil or grease. With the grease just enough to coat the gears. With oil use a 100% silicone oil made for RC's fill them 3/4 full or just above the last small gear inside the housing. There should be a paper gasket to seal it from leaking, but you might need a new one if it does leak out.
