This has me a little perplexed cause I have never seen it in person, but how do you do the mid tank configuration and what parts do I need to do it? And too, pics please.

Good question, and what is the benifit? I know on onroad cars you try to center the weight, but on a monster truck its not really neccessary.

I disagree, especially if you do much jumping, the weight being centered is a huge benefit. Do a search on mid tank mods and you will find lots of good information.

The weight of the tank actually centered my truck 50/50. It also protects the tank from being hit by being in between the TVPs.
Here are some pictures of my configuration:
Throttle Servo:

Steering Servo:

Tank:

Battery Box:

Receiver Box:

Those were older pictures, but here is what it looks like a month or so later:

That is still an older picture to but you'll get the idea. Your welcome bro.

All right, I can see how you configured the throttle servo, but how did you do the steering servo? I can only barely see the servo in a couple of pics. What did you attach it to? And what did you attach the servo saver and compenents to? Thanks.
Edit: Also, what tank did you use?

Mid tanking a my Savage X made a huge improvement in the overall handling. It's more level when jumping and removed much of the understeer. Oddly, I've also had fewer problems with traction rolling, but this may have more to do with better overall control of the truck. My particular conversion was done with an eye to lowering the center of gravity as much as possible. I've also found that parts are better protected when you slide sideways into something, as everything is contained between the TVPs. The big downside is that there is generally a fair amount of fabrication involved. FLM makes a plate the replaces the radio box and is predrilled for the tank. I cut this down, used it to mount the steering servo in a stockish configuration, and then fabbed the mounting for the tank seperately. I also fabricated a mount for the throttle servo out of aluminum angle. FLM, Chronic and several others make TVPs that really simplify the conversion, as they have mounting locations already set up for the servos and often have ways to mount the tank built in. Either way, be prepared to do a lot of research and some fabrication. Most of what you will need to do can be done with basic hand tools. I've subscribed to this thread, but feel free to PM me if you have other specific questions.

So I take that you have to buy the front servo plate for the steering and then it will have mounting holes for a fuel tank on it. I have the FLM chassis already, I just didn't know how to go about getting the servo and steering cams mounted without the radio box.

Do a search for the Ofna throttle mod. It will easily tell you everything you need to know. If you already have FLM chassis plates, just order up the servo plate and you should be set. It comes with an aluminum cross bar that supports the servo saver cams.
