Had about half a gallon of 30:1 through it. it seems to be running on one cylinder more than two, black oil dripping from one side of the engine exhaust and not the other.
Made a few not so nice noises and so I shut it down...... sounds like a big end bearing. plugs are wet and oily.
Anyone else have a problem with them?. open to suggestion as to whats wrong with it. ( I have my suspicions, and will confirm later) are parts readily available for these engines?.

Well, I looked at the site you suggested, and it appears to be a web shop, with no information on the DZY. I also searched these pages using "DZY 48" and resulted in two posts...... yours and mine.

Crankshaft bearings should be a standard size and available from any bearing shop. Frank Bowman has rings for the YW 48 so maybe they will fit the XYZ which is a clone of the YW.
If you need thing like rod bearings then things are indeed bleak.

Here http://forum.rcdesign.ru/index.php?showtopic=96602 was the same problem on DZY 48 twin. Heads has different temperatures, one was much colder than other. Check GAP in ignition plugs. May be it will help.
