I have a Rs4 3 and was wondering if anyone had found a way to make it rear wheel drive, but be able to switch back to 4 wheel mode. Whould that make its top speed increase?

Take out the front dog bones, and center front dog bone. Voila - 2 wheel drive.
You need to think about the fact that you will also only be able to brake using the rear wheels, so you'll be easily thrown into a spin when you hit the brakes.
I see no reason to think that going to 2 wheel drive will increase your top speed. The only advantage would be a slight reduction in drivetrain losses, which I can't imagine will result in any difference in top speed.
If you want to increase your top speed, change your gearing.

the little hex screw fell off my frontend of the spur gear so it's been 2WD ever since, well until i buy another screw, but trust me, since it's been 2WD i've never played with it, spinning out and TRYING to go straight will be all you're doing, i mean, it will go straight, but have fun turning unless you're so slow you're almost stopping. and no it doesn't increase speed
