Can anyone tell me what happens to the performance of a nitro engine when the nipple that screws into the tuned pipe come loose? Would this possibly make an engine run leaner? I ask because my torq .16 seems to be a bit hotter than before and I was checking over the car last night and found that the fitting was coming un screwed. I locktited it down.
Anyone else experience any change in performance with this?

if you lose pressure going to the fuel tank the engine will go lean.
I dont think that it being loose would make any noticable diffrence.
check the rest of the engine (carb, head, exhast manifold etc) to make sure everything is tight, if one screw came loose its possible more have too.
