Default 8ight E

Is the 8ight e worth the money? it seems like an outragous price for what your getting.

You get what you pay for. The 8ight platform is one if the best out there, it's many levels above cheaper entry level buggies.

That's just s matter of whether you want electric or nitro, the platform is good either way.

I prefer nitro just because it has eben around soo much longer and 1/8 brushless systems are still being perfected. Plus nitro has a bigger turnout in racing than electric.

Lets see, 8ight 2.0 race roller, $600, motor/esc combom $340= $940. It is being sold for $750. 'Decent' deal but not the best.

A 8t2.0 RTR will handle 100x better, be more durable, and have better parts support than the E Revo.

It takes about $1200-$1500 to get a good nitro or electric setup for racing.

If you want nitro then go for it, the 8ight's are great. I have an 8ight buggy, the old 1.0 nitro one - it's excellent. Handles like a touring car basically.

Whatever you like the looks of better. Truggy is a lil more stable but buggy jumps a little better and has more acceleration.

For both you will want to eventually get 4 pre oiled Losi air filters, Losi alumium shocks caps, and a Hitec 7955TG servo with losi aluminum servo arm for Hitec servos. Besdies that, it is great stock. A servo might take a dump so thats why I said to get the 7955TG servo. Buy quality, buy once. I like the bugy better than trugy but I have had the buggy longer. Whatever YOU like better.

What lipo pack would you run in the 8ight 2.0 E? I am debating picking one of these up.. never owned a 1/8th before. 3C Lipo the norm? anyone have a link to a recommended pack?
