well i have a 3000mah duratrax 6 cell battery. i set the charge a to 3.0a and than on discharger i put 1a rate and auto and than dchr/chr with 1 cycle. than it starts to charge and at the top where the volts are it say 8.6 volts. i dont know if its setp up wrong or what. please help!! what do i do. thanks

nimh cells will read higher voltage than they are actually rated. I discharge them to 1.1 volts each, then charge. So my 6 cell pack goes from 6.6-7 volts to over 8.5 volts when fully charged (it's rated at 7.2 volts)
