Yeah, looks about the same size as that other 4x4 SCT so that's good.

3.5 lbs without electronics, I think the 1509 will be enough lol, at least Ofna likes us enough to give us a kit

It looks really tough, like 8th scale. I dunno how durable it will be, but it looks pretty stout. As for electronics, I'm really not sure. It seems pretty heavy at 3.5 lbs, and it's 4WD. So I'm thinking that 3500 Kv Traxxas motor and a Castle ESC, but I on;y want to run 2S. That may change once I have one though...

The hyper is nice for sure, but parts are expensive ($40 for a cvd and axle after they bent running 3S on a MM4600)

I finally got to run my Hyper 10. This thing is EVERYTHING I hoped it would be! Fast, great handling, plenty of power, and the body still rolls like an SCT. I can see I'll turn much better laps with it. I was concerned about the turn radius, but it was plenty easy to stab the brakes and rotate the truck. I had no problems getting it around the track, and I dare say it was akin to my 8ight E(just a little slower). Can't wait to have a full class of these things to run against.... hopefully Santa will be as nice to everyone else as he was to me... :sneaky:

Its def lighter duty than 1/8th scale, but seems plenty strong. The truck weighs ALLOT less than my 8ight E. I nailed the track borders a few times, no issues. I'd say it's a fair amount tougher than my SC10. With 4WD, I was able to get it around the track allot faster than the SC10.

Well, right now, mine is COVERED in clay...
I couldn't wait for the track to completely dry out, and it's gonna start raining again tomorrow. So I knew that if I didn't run it, I'd have to stare at it yet another week or two. [>:]
We're planning a good practice session today. Hopefully I can get some good vids of it in action. It drives really nice, way easier to handle than my SC10 or a Slash. Stable, fast, yet it still has all the body roll of an SCT. Looks like a Pro 4 class truck from the TORQUE series.
