Where is the absolute BEST ( read cheapest) place to get pins and plastic parts to make my own servo extensions?

Hey,

In all honesty, the best extensions are soldered. You don't have to worry about the connectors coming apart or anything. Just snip the wires about an inch apart from each other so that the soldering and heat shrink are spaced apart. If you work for a tech company, just ask one of the rework people to do it for you. Thats how I have been doing my extensions for years and no problems so far.

Cheers,

Sebastian

Sebastion, I have more than enough capability to make the extensions, I just don't have a really inexpensive place to buy the components. I don't want to rework ones that I have bought, I want to make my own. Thanks anyway.

I really do not know. AirWild sells some kits I think. Also Cermark may. The parts are hard for me to source also, I get pre-made pigtails for my products.

Note: For all who might be looking for this same information. I found a pretty good source for pins and connectors to make your own servo extensions. www.RadicalRC.com, had exactly what I was looking for and their prices beat any I could find elsewhere.
