Hello Guys,
I am very new to large scale aircraft and I'm not sure which system to purchase. Here's what I'm using please advise.
Aero-works 75cc Extra 260
Futaba 14MZ Transmitter - I would like to take advantage of the mixing capabilities of the Tx.
Duralite Batteries
(4) Futaba 9156 for the ailerons and elevators
(1) Futaba 9157 for the rudder
(2) Futaba 9252 for the Choke and thottle
(1) Futaba R6014 FS Receiver
Sulivan smoke pump
Thanks,
Big D.

Hi Big D,
I would suggest the PowerSystem Competition 12 Plus. This will give you everything you need for a 75cc-140cc plane and a 12 channel radio. This has a regulator for your Duralites, 12 channels and a built in Ignition Cutoff. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,

Thank you for the quick reply. Due to the size of my transport vehicle, I had decided to go with the 50cc Extra 260 using the same components listed in the previous post. Does your recommendation remain the same?

Thanks,

Hi,
Since you will have less servos you can consider the PowerSystem Sport Plus also. It is designed for 50cc-75cc planes. If you are thinking of moving up to 100cc planes and want to keep the same electronics then the previous recommendation stands.
