I was sort of indifferent to electrics until a running buddy of mine got a used sv, stuck a 2300kv motor in it and a bigger esc, ONce we figured out the right prop and got things adjusted that boat rips. LOL I have gutted an older nitro hull and am doing a 4s mono! He changed my attitude with the SV. Good boat!
I've run one of my SV27's on 5s on the stock motor and esc and it was killer!
these can be a lot of fun when setup of right like yours

ok thanx.i wanna upgrade my bat, everything is stock sept grim racer prop.im new to elect boats, always owned nitro car an this is my first boat. if i upgrade my bat,do i need to change anything else?
In my opinion not much needs upgraded on an SV boat
A good prop is always good.. I like using a CF45 and CF48 prop
I've also heard a S230 and S235 work amazing on this boat
And good lipos with a C rating of 30c and higher will give the boat more punch and speed with the bigger props
And always check your temps when you use a bigger prop to make sure things are running in the safe zone
And punch it!
